Ever catch yourself stamping a label on someone or feeling a tag stuck on you? Yeah, me too!
It's like my whole existence had a label glued to it, and like we all do, I embraced that as my “reality”. For instance, the chorus of voices over the years chanted, “you’re a bad writer.” What they were picking at was my grammar, but what I absorbed was, “you're terrible at the very thing you yearn for, so yeah, drop that dream!”

It's curious how we let others sketch our outlines. What if we pivoted to curiosity instead? Like, I wonder if I dared to write, could I pull it off and hey, maybe even pen a couple of books? I believe there’s enchantment in wondering.

Is there a label you've been carting around for ages? Maybe the echoes you’ve tuned into aren't really uplifting, but anchoring you in place because your sprouting frightens the daylights out of those around you?

When folks can’t grasp the vision you have for your life, and they never will, they utter words to freeze you right there—snug in THEIR comfort bubble.
